Coffee + good food + books + exceptional customer service = basically my dream coffee shop. ☕📚✨ I stopped into Root & Press on Shrewsbury Street and I think I may have found my new favorite spot! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was incredible. They made sure I understood all of my options and were genuinely helpful, which immediately made the experience stand out. The food and coffee were just as impressive, and I am OBSESSED with the Spartan Bowl. 😍 Even my very picky daughter loved it, so that’s saying something! I’ll definitely be back because there are way too many menu items I want to try, and having a bookstore to browse while enjoying coffee and food makes this place even better. 📖💕 New favorite unlocked! ☕️💗

Loved Root and Press! Traveling cross country and just happened to stop in, I'm so glad we did. Food was delicious, service was friendly, and the book selection is impeccable. GO! We hope to be back the next time we head this way. Davison especially made our visit meaningful, thanks Root and Press!

WOW. I’m not a vegan but this place could convince me to convert. I ordered the vegan California wrap and it was so flavorful!! My father joined me and he ordered the Turkey Melt Panini with sweet potato tater tots— they were exceptional. Props to the owner for crafting such unique and tasty vegan/GF options 🩷

This place is sooo cute and homey. When you think coffee shop, this is it. Perfect Sunday morning, coffee shop bookstore vibe! They even have a corner for kids. I found the cutest Eric carl book for my 5 month old son. I wish they were still in Tatnuck square because that’s closer to me! lol. It’s worth the 15 minute drive and I will be back. The employees were so nice and they found me wandering around the book store to give me my coffee order. 10/10 service , 10/10 vibes. OH and I almost forgot? The campfire iced coffee was so good and so cute. And the fig goat cheese bagel combo, FIRE!!!! LOVEEEE

Root & Press Café is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome- especially Sarah, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. The food was outstanding. The Bavo cheese melt was perfectly made, the smoothie was fresh and delicious, and the cappuccino was excellent—rich, smooth, and exactly what you hope for. My son absolutely loved his grilled cheese and fries, and the fact that he was so comfortable and happy says everything. He’s already asking when we can come back again! The dining area is first come, first served, but tables turn over quickly and the flow is handled really well. The atmosphere can be a little crowded at times, but the crowd remained relaxed, welcoming, and family-friendly. Amazing food, amazing coffee, and truly amazing people. Root & Press Café has definitely earned a repeat visit from us!
